Hunter figured out how to roll over the other way this morning! He used to just roll from his back towards his right side and then onto his tummy but now he can roll towards his left side too! Now I guess he just needs to figure out how to go from his tummy to his back... and when he does, he'll be able to roll across the room! Won't that be fun! :)
I fed Hunter his first helping of rice cereal on Saturday. He seemed a little unsure with the first couple bites but after that, he was grabbing the spoon to help me put it in his mouth and was laughing and grunting! He thought it was so much fun!
On Sunday, I fed him another helping and he absolutely loved it! He was actually getting mad at me when I didn't get the spoon in his mouth fast enough! So cute! :D
Hunter rolled over for the first time last night! Well, technically, he did it while in his crib on Saturday but we'll just count last night as the first time, since I saw him do it this time... :P
He has been perfecting it all day today but it is so funny because he doesn't like being on his stomach, so as soon as he gets there, he's only happy for about 10 seconds and then he starts crying. So then I'll flip him over (since he hasn't figured out going from his tummy to back) and he gets SO mad! He's so funny...
I am now officially on Facebook! I thought that I would join the rest of the world and have a way to communicate with people, now that I am staying home with Hunter. I am still planning on keeping this blog updated though and just having the Facebook page as a means to link to this blog...
So, I am trying to get this blog updated, so it has current pictures, info, etc on it. So look for changes in the next week or so! :D
My official last day at Get Away Today was yesterday. It was so weird to think that I wouldn't be going back there ever again as an employee because I have been working there for 6 years! I don't think it has quite hit me yet, but I bet next week when I would usually get up and go to work, it will!
They got me a big cake to sort of "celebrate" my departure. But when we got everyone together around it, it was so sad! Here is a picture to explain:
Have you ever seen a sun so unhappy? What about the flowers? And the little bees? I don't think that I've ever seen such a sad cake... but it was definitely funny and I appreciated the sentiment.
My last day working at Get Away Today will be this Thursday. I put in my two weeks notice last Monday because I won't need to work with Josh's new job. I am so excited to be able to stay at home with Hunter because he is growing up so fast and I feel like I am missing things! So now I won't miss ANYTHING! :)
I am still planning on working for my sister though, being her little Mary Kay assistant. But I will do most things for her from home, so that works out very nicely.
I will miss all of the people that I got to work with at Get Away Today because they are all such awesome people. But I am excited for my new change and can't wait to get started on my new full time job... HUNTER! :P
